Tupelo Honey is made from the White Tupelo bloom found along the Chipola and Appalachia Rivers in the Florida Panhandle. Hives are placed along the river's edge for about 4 weeks in the spring when tress are in bloom.Honey is a wholesome product created in a natural process by honey bees from nectar of flowers.

Deep South Tupelo Honey is 100% Raw, Unheated, and Unfiltered.

Our honey is pure and natural. Just like eating honey right out of the comb! Tupelo Honey never crystallizes.

Due to Tupelo Honey's high fructose (44.3%) low dextrose (29.98%) ratio, diabetic patients have been permitted by their physicians to eat Tupelo Honey.

Tupelo Honey is primarily fructose, which is easily assimilated into the body. It does not tax the body or digestive system like white cane or granulated sugar. This simple sugar does not have to be processed by the body - it enters the bloodstream easily and does not produce the typical sugar rush.

Black and yellow particles along the top of the honey jar are bits of beeswax & pollen. This is seen when honey has not been heated or processed. It is honey in its natural state.

1 TBSP of Honey = 1.5 TBSP of Sugar

Honey is an excellent source of energy.
