Buck Gardner Calls Technology
Exclusively From Buck Gardner Calls…
At Buck Gardner Calls, we pride ourselves in our special technologies used in the creation of each one of our duck, goose, and predator calls. In many of the descriptions of our products, you will come across these terms and you may wonder what they mean. Here is a close look at the One-Of-A-Kind exclusives that Buck Gardner Calls has to offer!
What is “Spit Tech™”?
Spit Tech™ is an innovative technology exclusive to Buck Gardner’s Calls, which enables the duck call to work even when it’s wet from spit or duck pond water. Buck says, “the wetter the better” and backs each Spit Tech™ call with a money-back guarantee. “They never stick,” Buck claims. “If a Spit Tech™ call ever sticks, I’ll give your money back. That’s my personal guarantee.” The patented Spit Tech™ technology is achieved when Our Pro Staff Tuners™ skillfully hand-tune and test each call, paying special attention to the tone-board, custom fitting each reed, and insuring a close-tolerance fit between the barrel and insert – all combined with our unique and “special” design features.
What is “Short Barrel Technology” (“SBT”)?
Buck Gardner’s “Short Barrel Technology” offers waterfowlers an easily controlled call without sacrificing any of the sound qualities that you’ll need in a variety of hunting situations. Soft quacks, feed calling, come-backs, and hail calls are easily accomplished with the innovated Short Barrel Technology. The smaller air cavity provides improved caller control with less air, but still delivers plenty of spunk. Simply put, Buck’s SBT series allow callers at any level of expertise to blow the full range needed to bring ducks within range.
What is “Sorta Single™”?
Sorta Single™ system – a reed and a half, giving it the ability to ring on the top-end and have extra strong low end duck, and still be forgiving just like a double reed.
What is “Volume Flow Reduction” (“VFR”)?
Construction of the insert and the assembling of the reeds and cork in a specific manner which inhibits escaping air, resulting in the call’s extra back pressure, better control, ease of use, and real duck begging/pleading sound. “VFR” is the construction first used in “Brad’s Reactor” which makes it such a great finishing call.
