My family’s pursuit of waterfowl began in the late 60’s in the Pacific Northwest. This tradition has now transcended through out the generations. My passion for wing shooting has traversed through out the great Pacific Northwest, from the far corners of the East Washington to the shorelines Oregon and Washington for waterfowl. As a third generation waterfowl hunter I hope to pass on the same great experiences to the next generation.

Rodney Rexwinkle
rodneyr@rlreng.com
Rodney Rexwinkle was introduced to hunting by his father when he was only 6 years old in Kansas. After moving to Colorado Rodney continued his passion for the outdoors and hunting. Even though the waterfowl hunting in Colorado pales in comparison to what was found in Kansas, he still pursued them all over the state. Rodney moved to Oregon in 2000 and hunted throughout the Willamette valley, he returned to Colorado in 2002 and has continued his passion for hunting. Rodney has introduced his three kids (Cherokee, Devon, and Amber) to hunting who quickly became as passionate about it as Rodney is. Due to his passion Rodney has been fortunate enough to hunt waterfowl in many states and flyways in his life and still lives to hear the sound of whistling wings as the sun is rising.

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. I Grew up Hunting, Fishing, and taking lumps from my five older brothers. My passions have always revolved around the outdoors. Almost all of my childhood memories involve hunting or fishing trips of some sort. From a young age my dad and brothers took me everywhere with them. If I wasn’t invite I was known to sleep in the truck so when they left in the morning they had no choice but to take me along. The best times in my life have been out enjoying wildlife with my family. I married my high school sweetheart, but only after I took her trucking thru the mud at four in the morning to go duck hunting to make sure she could handle it, just kidding honey. Now we have two beautiful children Emily (8) and Hunter (6). I enjoy sharing my passions with my family and friend whenever possible. There is nothing better in the world for me.
Off Season: As a hardcore waterfowler my off season is just as exciting as the hunting season (besides the shooting factor). Just ask any of my neighbors and I am sure they will tell you all about the weekend unofficial goose/duck calling competitions that I put on in my back yard and the hours me and my daughter spend putting out all the decoys in the front yard just for fun. We find great ways to entertain ourselves. If all else fails there is always a river or lake with my name on it somewhere in this state.

Joe Evans
I was raised in a small farm town in Eureka, Nevada. Growing up their I hunted upland game, big game and a lot of predator hunting. I soon made my home in Reno, Nevada where I have been persuing waterfowl in California, Oregon, Idaho, and Canada. Waterfowl hunting was a hobby but shortly turned into an obsession. I love to do competitive duck and goose calling with numerous top 5 finishes with one win. I am married to my beautiful wife Melanie and wonderful daughter Haylee Joe. My grandfather taught me alot about humor and duck hunting. He always said “ I hit that duck but my barrel must be bent”. He was my mentor and a great grandfather.
